Bayou View Apartments

Message: Very nice land lords we have been here since February they helped us with furniture because when we moved we had nothing but our clothes. They are very professional and do not put up with foolishness, they are a little more laid back then the rules state in the lease, but if you are respectful and stay to yourself you will not have any problems well at least that is the case in our building it's like one big extended family.

Message: I’ve been living here a little over a year now. The lady that works in the office is very nice. They’re ok apartments if you can’t afford anything nicer. Maintenance is sometimes slow when asking for a maintenance request but does get around to your unit eventually. They’re cheap apartments to rent so you get cheap fixes and deal with things in your apartment that are in bad shape/damaged that they don’t feel the need to replace but is it decent and livable. Plus they are old apartments built in the 60’s so older issues arise with that such as very thin walls, you can hear everything. These apartments also have issues with drain flies and cockroaches mostly. Most apartments do though because it takes just one dirty person and all the units are effected and its very hard to get rid of, wish we had better pest control. Management does a good job at evicting terrible people that disturb others. The water here is good drinkable water, the previous comment about worms in the water is not true. And I almost didn’t move here because of that, so ignore that complaint if your thinking about moving here that was the unit next door to me that disturbed everyone because they were crazy that I told management about and they evicted them. Crime isn’t bad here as they do criminal background checks on residents, the surrounding area is just not the best.

Message: To whom ity concern Brandi in A3 I have gotten. Deathly sick being in this apartment the water I don't know but I have gotten tread worms I guess from the water, I had to go to hospital I have lost 60 pound in the little time I been here. but it has made me extremely sick Roger took my money keys I have been stuck here every day I had to get my daughter to bring me to hospital.

Message: With every place there are good and bad reviews. Have no problem with management or maintenance. As far as people, there are a variety, some characters, and some good folks. We are cat ppl, most in my building are dog or no pets. And this has created a conflict of sorts with my nabors. Being new is an acceptable however two of my nabors are rude and petty because of my cats. But i guess it takes all kinds of people to make this world. I just think christians should not have to say they are, their actions as to how they treat others should speak for itself.

Message: These apts are nice. But its the parents don't make their kids mind. These kids will throw their trash down just about anywhere. The parents don't make their children pick up their trash even thou the parents are right there when they do it. Yes the trash-litter gets picked up every day until mid evening when kids go outside. And it is the grown ups to. I seen it with my own eyes.
